Abilene Christian University Extends Cenergistic Sustainability Solution Through 2022, Expects Continued Future Success and Savings
DALLAS, Oct. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Cenergistic is pleased to announce the renewal and expansion of its Sustainability Solution at Abilene Christian University (ACU). With Cenergistic, ACU has achieved a 25% reduction in energy consumption per square foot, the elimination of 19,321 metric tons of CO2 and $3.5M in savings. The project began in January of 2014 with the goals of eliminating energy waste, establishing a university-wide culture of sustainability and reducing utility costs.

Additionally, ACU and the surrounding community have reached a goal of recycling nearly 54 tons of plastic, cardboard and newspaper.
