ABSOLUT Launches NEW Drinkspiration App for iPhone

STOCKHOLM, Nov. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, ABSOLUT VODKA launches the NEW Drinkspiration – a free application for the iPhone.  Following the category-defining success of the first release of Absolut's Drinkspiration in the summer of 2009 comes a bevy of app updates, specially designed with the new iPhone5 in mind.

The NEW Drinkspiration learns a user's taste over time, and provides personalized drink recommendations, just like a great bartender. Drinkspiration guides users through all areas of their flavor palette, serving up instant drink recommendations, based on the user's own personal taste.

Now with several hundred new cocktail recipes added, both contemporary and classic, Drinkspiration always delivers fresh cocktail ideas with how-to instructions and video clips, enabling users to keep up with the latest trends. Spirits fans will never find themselves short of taste inspiration as the ever-growing list of Drinkspiration recipes includes vodka, rum, gin, brandy, whiskey, tequila and even non-alcoholic options. 

With the addition of the feature to make the text larger, specially designed for showing bartenders recipes, the NEW Drinkspiration is great to use both at home and at the bar.

The addition of the Collection feature makes NEW Drinkspiration easy for users to keep track of their favorite drinks, save lists for events and holidays and browse pre-installed collections from ABSOLUT.

The social "I'll Have One" button, familiar to users of the app's original version, has been redesigned to support friends and locations, making it easy to share your app experience with the world.
