While it has been a challenging year for the construction industry, bridges in the Middle East region are still being built in far greater numbers than ever before. As the Middle East urban infrastructure develops, the number of technical and design challenges for bridge construction also increases.

Bridges Middle East (http://www.bridgesme.com) under the patronage of Abu Dhabi Municipality and the official support of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works, speakers and participants will meet to discuss strategic projects and bridge development plans in the Middle East region and hear about the latest technologies available in bridge design, construction and maintenance.

Bridges Middle East 2010 will bring regional and international public and private sector industry leaders together in Abu Dhabi from 24 to 27 October. Four days of innovative content will give participants the unique opportunity to meet with Ministries of Public Works, Municipalities, transport authorities, private developers, consultants, contractors, engineers, architects and designers and will also benefit from the exclusive opportunity to visit the iconic Sheikh Zayed Bridge and Horadiyat Bridge.
