BERLIN N.J., Nov. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- A.C. Moore Arts & Crafts announced a month long campaign supporting Toys For Tots Foundation beginning Saturday, November 14. As a leading specialty retailer, all 136 locations will serve as official drop-centers accepting toy donations for local families in need.

"We are constantly inspired by the generosity of our customers and strive to use our resources to bridge the gap between creativity and compassion," said CEO Pepe Piperno. "As A.C. Moore enters its second year of partnership with Toys for Tots, we hope to make a bigger impact for local communities each year."

A.C. Moore will ignite the campaign by distributing 30,000 items to local Toys for Tots chapters in which A.C. Moore stores operate. There will also be a chain-wide Make & Take on Saturday, November 14 where families are invited to join local Marines and Toys for Tots coordinators in crafting a holiday keepsake using free supplies and instructions from 11am to 2pm.

Driven by its mission to Craft a Better World, A.C. Moore contributed more than 80,000 items to Toys for Tots in 2014. Continuing the initiative, the superstore is striving to collect and donate more than 100,000 toys this holiday season.
