Academy Sports + Outdoors to open first Memphis store Sept. 27 and announces multi-year partnership with Univ. of Memphis

KATY, Texas, Sept. 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Academy Sports + Outdoors (d/b/a Academy), a premier sports, outdoor and lifestyle retailer, will open its first Memphis-area store on Sept. 27, 2013 at 8 a.m. in Collierville, Tennessee. In conjunction with the opening, Academy has signed a multi-year partnership with The University of Memphis and its athletics multimedia rights holder, Tiger Sports Properties.
