Acal BFi and FYLA Announce Exclusive Pan-European Distribution Agreement

Acal BFi, European leader in advanced technology solutions, have signed a new, exclusive pan-European distribution agreement with FYLA.  

Acal BFi and FYLA have recently launched a new range of Supercontinuum white light lasers based on a unique supercontinuum generation system and FYLA's patented FYPP technology.  The simple design and the effectiveness of FYLA's manufacturing process provide customers a unique combination of high performance, robustness and low cost of ownership.

The SC500 offers more than 500mW output at 50kHz in a single spatial mode and a non polarized output. The laser encompasses the entire 450 - 2400nm spectrum with visible, flat output and a very high energy per pulse and brightness output (500 kW/cm² at fibre output). Pulse duration is in the nanosecond domain and higher power and picosecond multi-MHz versions are available for demonstration and will soon be available commercially. Spectral filtering units, either passive or active, can also be supplied with the system. This innovative white light laser is suitable for a range of applications including microscopy, ophthalmology, endoscopy, interferometry, hyperspectral imaging, and flow cytometry.
