Accel expands into Large Tent space, adding massive $500k tent to rental inventory

HONOLULU, April 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Accel Event Rentals and its partner Koa Capital Partners, LLC, have completed another major capital investment, bringing one of the event rental industry's finest large-scale tents to the state. The $500,000 system will accommodate up to 2,340 guests under a flexible configuration of up to 25,000 square feet. It is only the second tent of its size to be available in the islands and the first in two decades.

Accel selected German tenting & temporary structure manufacturer Losberger De Boer Group for the new tent system. Adhering to strict German regulatory guidelines and guaranteeing a high level of reliability worldwide, Losberger is widely regarded as a world leader in the industry. Accel is the first rental company to bring Losberger quality to the islands.

The new tent is Accel's fourth major expenditure of growth capital since its partnership with Koa Capital Partners LLC was announced in September 2017. It follows Accel's November 2017 investment of more than $250,000 in high quality equipment and the addition of a new Premium Line of rental items, as well as the acquisition of event rental companies in Waipahu and on Maui, both in June 2018.

More growth is in the works for Accel. Future capital investments will include further expansion to Accel's team of employees and managers, new technology and systems, and an accelerated equipment acquisition and replacement schedule, all designed to make the client experience the best it can be at favorable prices.
