Accelera Innovations, Inc. Announces Purchase Agreement of SCI Home Health Inc (d/b/a Advance Lifecare Home Health, LLC)
CHICAGO, Oct. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On October 7, 2014, Accelera Innovations, Inc. ("Accelera") announced that they have closed on the acquisition of SCI Home Health, Inc (d/b/a Advance Lifecare Home Health) ("SCI"), this decision was based on SCI's growth rate of 30 to 40% annually. The agreement reflects a favorable valuation and creates efficiencies for all of the Accelera companies, by leveraging the strength of the Advance Lifecare Medicare certification.
SCI is 100% Medicare certified, and is engaged in the business of providing home health care services. The programs offered are Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Skilled Nursing by Registered Nurses, Medical Social Workers, Rehabilitation Services, Home Health Aides and providing Medical Supplies and Equipment.

Accelera plans to integrate the acquired assets into its existing platform and offer patients a way to self-monitor and track common ailments and conditions, and in turn share that data with their primary care physician to facilitate ongoing communications around condition management, both online, and in-person. Both patients and physicians will access the communication and self-tracking features via a shared permission-based and opt-in environment.
