Accenture's William D. Green and Corporation for Supportive Housing's Deborah De Santis Named to Babson College Alumni Entrepreneur Hall of Fame

BABSON PARK, Mass., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Babson College Alumni Entrepreneur Hall of Fame's newest members are William (Bill) D. Green '76, M'77, H'07, chairman & CEO of Accenture, and Deborah De Santis '85, president and CEO of the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH).

Established in 2008, the Hall of Fame welcomes alumni who distinguish themselves in entrepreneurial endeavors in all types of enterprises. They will be honored during the Hall of Fame Dinner on October 15th at Babson College. The celebration is part of Babson's Family & Friends Weekend 2010.

Bill Green is chairman & CEO of Accenture, a US$21.6 billion management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. In addition to chairing the board of directors, Mr. Green is responsible for managing the company, formulating and executing long-term strategies and for interacting with clients, employees, investors and other stakeholders.

Mr. Green represents Accenture in a number of external venues, including Business Roundtable, where he serves as chairman of its Education, Innovation and Workforce Initiative. He is a frequent speaker at business, technology and academic forums around the world.

Mr. Green joined Accenture in 1977 and became a partner in 1986. He attended Dean College and is a member of its Board of Trustees. He has a BS in economics and an MBA from Babson College, as well as an honorary doctor of laws. He and his wife have two children.

Deborah De Santis became President and CEO of the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH) in January 2007 after joining the nonprofit in 2003 as Director of CSH's New Jersey program. A national organization, CSH works with communities throughout the country to produce permanent affordable housing with services that keep low-income, disabled and formerly homeless people housed, healthy and more independent. Under her leadership, CSH has surpassed the halfway mark in its goal to combat homelessness through the creation of 150,000 new units of supportive housing.

Immediately prior to joining CSH, Ms. De Santis oversaw the business operations of a real estate development company, International Senior Development, LLC. From 1998 to 2002, she was with the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency, first as COO and then as Executive Director. Ms. De Santis also served as Deputy Chief of Staff to New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman from 1996 to 1998, and as Deputy Commissioner of the NJ Department of Community Affairs, which oversees the development of affordable housing in the state. Ms. De Santis received a BS in Business Administration from Babson College. She resides in New Jersey with her partner and two children.
