Access Energy's Maggie Yu to Speak at International Green Energy Expo in South Korea Wednesday
CERRITOS, Calif., April 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Maggie Yu, Business Development Director for Access Energy, producers of the safest, lowest cost heat and pressure recovery systems for small-scale commercial and industrial applications, will present at South Korea's International Green Energy Expo and Conference as a part of its Innovation Program Wednesday afternoon.
Yu will speak on how utilizing Organic Rankine Cycle technology can recover unused heat to generate "green" power safely and economically. Access Energy also will exhibit its Thermapower™ ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) technology at the expo.
"There is a huge opportunity for low grade waste heat conversion in multiple industries throughout Asia," said Yu. "In a recent case study we completed at a cement plant, we discovered that 19 million kWh of power per year can be generated from currently wasted heat using our Thermapower™ technology. This equates to 266 million JPY in found revenue, annually."
Prior to joining Access Energy last year, Yu held various positions in strategic marketing, business development and other similar roles within Siemens, Comverge and Doosan Power Systems. When she was the Director of International Business Development for Comverge, Inc., she developed and executed go-to-market strategies to create business opportunities within the Asian markets. Yu holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Textile Engineering from China Textile University, as well as a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Business Administration from Clemson University.
Taking place April 3 through 5, the International Green Expo is Korea's largest and Asia's leading Photovoltaic & Renewable Energy exhibition and conference.
