ACEDS unveils new digital badge, providing eDiscovery professionals a new way to validate skills, knowledge and professional certification

MIAMI, Oct. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists (ACEDS), a BARBRI Professional Association, now offers a new benefit to its members holding the coveted Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) credential. The association's new digital certification validation badge provides a way for professionals to easily differentiate themselves, validate their skills and enhance their professional brand.

ACEDS has partnered with Credly's Acclaim platform to provide CEDS designees with a digital version of their credentials. The well-known Acclaim platform offers an unmatched level of security for the digital badge holder, with each badge uniquely linked to verified data hosted on the platform. This makes them more reliable and secure than a paper-based certificate. It also eliminates the possibility of anyone claiming the credential and associated identity.

As an added benefit to CEDS certification holders, the Acclaim platform also offers labor market insights pulled from live job requisitions. Based on an individual's skills, he or she can learn which employers are hiring, the specific job titles for which one might be qualified, salary ranges and more. Professionals can search and apply for job opportunities right through the Acclaim platform.
