Acision Appoints Basil Geoghegan as Chief Development Officer

Acision, a world leader in mobile data, today announced the appointment of investment banker, Basil Geoghegan, to the position of Chief Development Officer. Geoghegan joins Acision with more than 15 years' experience in the financial sector, having occupied MD positions at two of the world's leading investment banking houses, Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs. In his role at Acision, Geoghegan will be responsible for the company's growth strategy, corporate finance and future development of the business.

Geoghegan worked at Goldman Sachs for nearly 14 years, culminating in the position of MD of its London-based Financial Institutions Group, before joining Deutsche Bank in 2009, where he was responsible for supporting all of the firm's UK and Irish investment banking clients. During his tenure at both companies, Geoghegan advised leading blue-chip companies across multiple sectors (including banking, aerospace and technology) on a broad range of financial issues including IPOs, mergers and acquisitions and rights restructuring.
