The Company informed that sachcontrol AG has the ability to decrease severity costs for its insurance customers by comparing property repair invoices against its proprietary database of standardized market prices. According to the Company, the acquisition is expected to close in Q4 FY 2014 (period ending June 30, 2014), subject to certain closing conditions. Infinera Corporation Analyst Notes
On May 20, 2014, Infinera Corporation (Infinera) and Australia Japan Cable (AJC) together announced the completion of the second and final phase of deployment of the multi-terabit upgrade to AJC's network. According to the Company, the multi-terabit, high-capacity ring will provide diverse fiber paths into cable landing stations in Australia, Guam, and Japan, where an Intelligent Transport Network for AJC is enabled by Infinera's DTN-X packet optical transport networking platforms. "This network upgrade with Infinera's Intelligent Transport Network has enabled the retirement of AJC's original 10G transport equipment and the transfer of traffic to the more capable Infinera DTN-X platform," said Philip Murphy, Head of Engineering at AJC. "The original AJC 10G technology served us well but the efficiency, flexibility and speed of deploying the Infinera DTN-X to deliver 100G allows AJC to be more responsive to our customers in terms of client interfaces and traffic switching."
