SALT LAKE CITY, March 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- With a goal of $5,000, Eric Tam has launched a crowdfunding project on Indiegogo to get the travel gadgets online store FlyBuyers.com (http://www.flybuyers.com) off the ground. Its main mission is to provide a way for military families to earn extra income without needing to put in any time or effort.

The project is not asking for donations, but is offering gadgets at deeply discounted prices as perks for contributions to help its launch.

FlyBuyers will offer useful and cool gadgets for people on the go, such as chargers and adapters for mobile phones and computers. It also plans to donate part of the sales to veterans' organizations, such as the VFW.

Eric has been on active duty service in the U.S. Air Force since 2008. Seeing families struggle financially while the spouse was deployed made him look for a quick way to help them make extra income without having to put time and effort into it. He consulted with IT and business experts to plan how to enable military (and any other) families to use their social media connections to earn extra income – and decided to set up an online store to sell useful and cool power gadgets for road warriors.
