ADEKA Group to Join Interplastica 2014 Trade Fair

TOKYO, Jan. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ADEKA Palmarole SAS, the French subsidiary of ADEKA Corporation, will join the International Trade Fair Plastics and Rubber (Interplastica 2014), a plastics and rubber industry fair to be held at the Expocentre in Moscow, Russia. The fair takes place on Jan. 28-31, 2014, and ADEKA will exhibit its products at Hall 8.1, Booth 8.1.B35. Interplastica, which will be held for the 17th time, is now known as one of the largest trade fairs for the industry in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independence States (CIS) region.

At the fair, we will introduce some new products, including ADK STAB LA-81 (novel NO-Alkyl HALS for polyolefin) and ADK STAB LA-1000 (high heat resistant UVA for polycarbonate), along with a wide range of products like antioxidants, light stabilizers, nucleating and clarifying agents, flame retardants and other specialty products.

Russia's gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to grow by 3.7% this year. Based on this strong development, we regard the country and the CIS nations as the most promising markets.

We are accelerating the market development of polymer additives globally, as seen by our announcement last month about expanding the production capacity of our Middle East subsidiary, ADEKA Al Ghurair Additives LLC (AAA).
