Current CEO Mark Williams, RPh, to Transition to Chairman; Jesse McDonald, PharmD, to Become President

INDIANAPOLIS , July 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- True Rx Health Strategists, the Indiana-based pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) privately owned by a family of pharmacists, announced today that Adrienne Williams LaBorwit, the company's Chief Strategy Officer, will become Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in January 2026. LaBorwit will succeed Mark Williams, RPh, who will transition from his current role as CEO into his new position as Founder and Chairman. At the same time, Chief Operating Officer Jesse McDonald, PharmD, will assume the newly created role of President of True Rx.

As Founder of True Rx, Williams has been instrumental in shaping the company's growth, culture, and strategic direction. Under his leadership, True Rx evolved from a regional player into a nationally recognized PBM. His transition marks the next step in a carefully planned succession strategy designed to ensure continuity, long-term stability, and a strong foundation for True Rx's next chapter.

Since joining True Rx in 2018, LaBorwit has held several leadership roles, including Director of Business Development, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, and Chief Strategy Officer. As the fifth generation in her family's pharmacy business, she brings to her new role over 20 years of experience in business development, health care leadership, patient experience, and client relationship management. Her appointment as CEO reflects the company's ongoing commitment to growth, innovation, and patient-centered care.
