(ASCI), maker of ActiveBatch^® IT Automation Without Boundaries(SM), today announced expanded support for Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 and other important IT management and cloud technologies through its ActiveBatch Extension for System Center Configuration Manager. Together with ASCI's other ActiveBatch Microsoft System Center extensions, the ActiveBatch Extension for System Center Configuration Manager gives IT administrators unsurpassed convenience and control of Windows Server and client desktop networks.

When it detects that an update has been saved to SQL Server, it automatically executes the workflow and sends the administrator an alert notifying him or her that the configuration process is complete."

ActiveBatch's complementary support for Orchestrator also allows Orchestrator Activities to be triggered from ActiveBatch, or ActiveBatch workflows from Orchestrator.
