Advanced Systems Concepts Strengthens Leadership Bench, Adding Mehul Amin As Director of Engineering and Nicolas Vautier as Director of Customer Services

(ASCI), maker of ActiveBatch^® IT Automation Without Boundaries^SM, today announced the appointment of two new directors: Mehul Amin has been promoted to Director of Engineering, his latest promotion since he started as a junior systems engineer at ASCI 15 years ago. Nicolas Vautier, who gained extensive financial sector experience prior to joining ASCI's Quality Assurance department, is the company's new Director of Customer Services. Amin and Vautier bring strategic vision and tactical expertise as well as practical business experience to their new roles.

Amin originally joined ASCI in 1996 as a systems engineer, working on a number of successful system-level applications, including ActiveBatch. After playing an integral role in user interface projects and taking on challenging product leadership roles, Amin joined the team that successfully built the enterprise-level job scheduling system that became ActiveBatch. His practical work experience combined with his master's of computer science degree at Stevens Institute of Technology make him uniquely qualified to drive high-profile initiatives and lead ASCI's engineering team.

Vautier spent approximately a decade working in the financial sector in New York City, including investment banks and hedge fund organizations, prior to joining the Quality Assurance department at ASCI in 2012. As a certified Agile/Scrum Master, he collaborated closely with the engineering teams on development projects. Vautier now heads up the Customer Services business unit, where he will apply his leadership, experience and commercial insights to grow both the Technical Support and Professional Services areas. Vautier earned a master's degree in network and telecommunications at EPITA in Paris and a master's in IT management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
