A+E Breaks New Ground with First-Ever Commercial Real Estate Reality Series: "The Real Estate Commission" with Todd J. Drowlette
New reality series debuting on October 12, 2025, takes viewers inside the trillion-dollar world of commercial real estate
NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- This October, A+E Network will premiere The Real Estate Commission, the first-of-its-kind unscripted docuseries to spotlight the trillion-dollar commercial real estate (CRE) industry. The eight-episode series debuts Sunday, October 12, at 9 a.m. ET as part of A+E's Home.Made Nation programming block.
While television has long celebrated house-flipping and residential design, commercial real estate — the sector that powers skylines, local economies, and small business growth — has remained largely invisible to viewers. The Real Estate Commission changes that by taking cameras inside real-life negotiations that determine whether office towers fill, retailers expand and communities thrive.
Hosted by Todd J. Drowlette, Managing Director of TITAN Commercial Realty Group, season one follows high-stakes deals across New York, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and North Carolina, while highlighting markets like Philadelphia, Albany, Syracuse, and New York City. From multimillion-dollar office leases to national retailer expansions, viewers will watch actual buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants strike deals and shape economies in real time.
"This show is like Shark Tank meets commercial real estate — the deals are real, the stakes are high, and viewers will see how empires are built one deal at a time," said Todd J. Drowlette, one of the nation's top commercial real estate brokers. "Commercial real estate touches people's lives every single day — from the gas station where they fill up, to the grocery store that stocks their shelves and the drive-thru coffee they grab on the way to work. While office towers have struggled since COVID, and today's higher interest rates make lending harder, the deals we do in this industry matter more than ever. They aren't just about investors — they keep local businesses alive, workers employed and entire communities moving forward."
Over his 23-year career, Drowlette has closed over 1,700 transactions totaling over $2 billion. He was the youngest exclusive broker for Starbucks in the U.S. at age 22 and has represented major franchisees for Dunkin', Buffalo Wild Wings, and IHOP, among countless famous brands.
Each week, A+E will air back-to-back new episodes, offering national audiences a rare look at how commercial real estate decisions shape daily life, from where families shop and dine to the jobs that anchor local economies.
