AECOM's Tishman Construction appoints new leader of its Mid-Atlantic business

WASHINGTON, April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Tishman Construction, an AECOM company, announced today that John Barron has joined the firm as executive vice president and Mid-Atlantic regional manager. Mr. Barron will be responsible for overseeing business development activities as well as operations throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. A seasoned industry leader, he will focus on driving the growth of the company in new markets in addition to aggressively expanding its current market share.

He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board for the Washington Building Congress, and he is an active member of the D.C. Building Industry Association, Associated Builders and Contractors, and the Association of General Contractors.

He holds a master of business administration degree from Virginia Tech and a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia.
