(AME UAS), a ChandlerMay company and leading manufacturing firm supporting the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) market, announced that it has opened a new corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility at 125 Venture Drive in San Luis Obispo, CA.
With this move, AME has doubled its production and engineering space, now occupying 78,000 square feet, with a mixture of office, labs, test stands, and production space. AME will use the new facility to improve the efficiency of its current operation while expanding production capacity in response to new and future business.
AME builds high-endurance special mission UAS's, including the Fury® UAS, and provides aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, and software engineering capabilities as well as full system manufacturing services to defense customers worldwide.
AME also announced that it has opened a new office at 380 Stevens Avenue, Suite 310, Solana Beach, CA. This new office will enable AME to support local customers and to pursue new business opportunities and partnerships in the greater San Diego area and in Orange and Los Angeles counties.
