Afghan Singing Legend Aryana Sayeed Named JadooTV Global Brand Ambassador
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Afghan singing superstar Aryana Sayeed was named JadooTV's Global Brand Ambassador today. The award winning singer, song writer, television personality, entrepreneur and woman's rights activist will represent South Asian IPTV provider & entertainment company, JadooTV Inc. in global campaigns as the company looks to enter new markets and serve ethnic communities across multiple platforms.

The multi-award winner female star from Afghanistan rose to fame in 2008 with her hit single, MashAllah, a multi-lingual song in Farsi, English and Punjabi that was broadcast on many Asian and South Asian media outlets. Since then she has produced multiple hit songs in Farsi and Pashto, won numerous awards including Best Female Artist of Afghanistan on six occasions, Afghan Icon Award, Voice of Afghanistan Award and Bravery Award. She has also performed over 100 concerts worldwide, appeared on TV shows and philanthropic festivals across the globe. She was the host of Shab-e-Mosiqi (Music Night) on 1TV Afghanistan and served as one of the coaches in Voice of Afghanistan 2013 followed by serving as a judge on Afghan Star on Tolo TV. Aryana is known for her innovative, daring and stylish approach towards her artistic career, and is considered as a role model for the current generation of females and female artists in Afghanistan. Most recently, Aryana was honored with the Atlantic Council 2018 Freedom Award in Berlin for her work in defending and advancing the cause of human rights and freedom in Afghanistan. In June 2018, Aryana became the first artist from Afghanistan to perform at the Polar Music Prize event, which is considered to be the equivalent of the Nobel Prize for music.
