Africa Plantation Capital Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification
NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Award winning Africa Plantation Capital is pleased to announce its recent achievement in obtaining ISO 9001:2015 certification under UKAS (UNITED KINGDOM ACCREDITATION SERVICE) by Bureau Veritas for Real Estate and Plantation Management Services.
ISO 9001:2015 certification promotes the development of continual improvement, customer satisfaction, traceability and international best practices within the Africa Plantation Capital organization. Africa Plantation Capital aims to provide clients with the highest quality plantation management services. The ISO certification means clients can have increased confidence in Africa Plantation Capital and the services provided.
Africa Plantation Capital's Director Mr. Kioleoglou Kosta, said: "We're really happy with the business' ISO 9001:2015 certification. It further supports our commitment to providing our clients and partners with an unrivaled, world-class bamboo plantation management service. ISO 9001:2015 sets out the criteria for a quality management system. During the last decade, the majority of large organizations around the world are using the ISO standards. In fact, there are over one million companies and organizations in over 170 countries certified to ISO 9001. Africa Plantation Capital is now officially one of them and ready to deliver high quality services to our clients."
This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.
According to Africa Plantation Capital's Business Development Director Mr. Kelvin Kaloki. The journey towards achieving ISO 9001:2015 started in August, 2016. "We were very keen from the outset to ensure that the ISO framework was used to bring genuine value to our clients, rather than focusing on the accreditation for accreditation's sake. Before presenting ourselves to the certification agency, countless hours of work and preparation were undertaken, internal policies and processes aligned with ISO standards, employees trained and internal audits completed. We are very pleased with the result."
