Agile Network's AgileShip™ Multi-Carrier Parcel Shipping Software Achieves Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle Transportation Management 6.3

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today at the 2014 Oracle Value Chain Summit, enterprise transportation management solution provider and Gold-Level member of Oracle® PartnerNetwork (OPN), Agile Network announced its AgileShip multi-carrier parcel shipping software has achieved Oracle Validated Integration (OVI) with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) 6.3.

The new integration allows AgileShip to calculate and provide rating, routing and time-in-transit data from multiple carriers for rating requests from OTM Rate Inquiry, Direct Shipment, and Bulk Planning levels.  Utilizing Oracle WebLogic Server 11g Release 1 and Oracle Database 11g Release 2, the integration employs the Oracle Java Class file adapter to connect OTM with AgileShip's enterprise rating engine.  Designed to handle high-volume inquiries, the AgileShip rating engine provides compatible access to services from every major carrier, including FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, TNT and a broad network of US regional and international parcel carriers.  

For execution, AgileShip provides Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle E-Business Suite, wherein users can access the entire range of AgileShip functions, including real-time rating and routing, address validation, pack verification, shipment consolidation, export documentation and AES filing, manifesting, labeling, tracking, tracing, and proof of delivery.  AgileShip also offers integrated carrier invoice reconciliation and a visual graphic management dashboard to monitor fulfillment activities and assess carrier performance among other analytics.  To support the diversity of enterprise shipping applications, AgileShip may be integrated with material handling systems and configured to operate in black box, attended-station, and print-and-apply modalities.
