Agile Networks in North America Deploys Hundreds of Radwin Systems to Drive High-Speed Broadband to Enterprises

TEL AVIV, Israel, March 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --

RADWIN (http://www.radwin.com), the global provider of sub-6 GHz broadband wireless solutions, today announced that Agile Networks - a leading telecommunication services company headquartered in Ohio, NA - deployed hundreds of RADWIN 5000 point-to-multipoint and RADWIN 2000 point-to-point systems to expand its broadband network in Ohio. Winncom Technologies, a leading provider of complete wireless and wired networking solutions, was responsible for project distribution.

RADWIN 5000 PtMP and RADWIN 2000 PtP solutions deliver 250 Mbps over long ranges of up to 120 Km/75 miles. These systems incorporate advanced technologies such as OFDM, MIMO and a unique air interface to mitigate interference and enable deployments in non-line-of-sight (NLOS). RADWIN 5000 systems include a Smart Bandwidth Management feature and deliver dedicated bandwidth per site, enabling service providers to offer guaranteed SLAs to their end-customers.

Kyle Quillen, CTO, Agile Networks commented: "Our twofold goal is to deliver carrier-class voice, video and data services - from 25 to 100Mbps - to government, enterprises and public safety entities and also to spread connectivity to remote communities. We selected RADWIN because the systems outperformed all other vendor equipment, delivering fiber-like quality service at just a fraction of the cost of T1/E1 lines. RADWIN is our partner of choice as we expand our network into additional markets in Ohio and additional states."

Aaron Savy, VP of Sales & Business Development, Winncom Technologies stated: "RADWIN is the perfect fit for this project because it has the technological edge and expertise to meet Agile Network's requirements. RADWIN 5000 and 2000 are true carrier-grade products and leading service providers such as Agile are choosing RADWIN's systems because they deliver unparalleled capacity at the most cost-effective price while operating in the toughest conditions."

Mike Cook, RADWIN GM North America: "With our equipment, Agile can best serve the needs of government, public safety and enterprise customers that require high capacity, fool-proof connectivity at the most affordable price and drive connectivity to remote communities."
