Agilysys Launches Mobile ResNet Application

The application enables guests to book rooms directly into the Lodging Management System™ (LMS) property management solution via any Web-enabled smartphone as well as an iPad™ or iPod touch® device.

One of the first companies to use the application is Boyd Gaming Corporation, which has incorporated Mobile ResNet into 'B Connected Mobile,' the first multi-property, loyalty program-based smartphone application of its kind in the gaming industry. Rolled out in July, 'B Connected Mobile' delivers personalized offers and information -- including best rates available on hotel rooms -- directly to Boyd Gaming customers on their mobile devices.

The Mobile ResNet application integrates seamlessly with the LMS ResNet online reservations solution to enable guests to book a room. However, unlike many mobile applications, the Mobile ResNet application is broad in scope and is designed to run on any Web-enabled smartphone as well as iPad and iPod touch devices. It rounds out the LMS property management system offering, which includes modules for accounting, activities scheduling, attraction ticketing, condo accounting, food and beverage management, remote check-in and more.
