In partnership with the U.S. State Department, Unreasonable Group launches program to accelerate efforts of select entrepreneurs best positioned to help achieve United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
DAVIS, Calif., Aug. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Agrinos is one of only 16 global entrepreneurial companies chosen to take part in a newly launched Unreasonable Goals program that will leverage market forces for the purpose of solving some of the world's toughest challenges.
The program is a partnership between governments, multinationals and the Unreasonable Group. It is dedicated to addressing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals identified in 2015 by world leaders at the United Nations, and aims to end poverty, ensure food security and tackle climate change by 2030.

Dr. Ry Wagner, Agrinos' CEO, participated in the inaugural program that spanned nearly two weeks in July and was held in Washington, D.C. The annual program is scheduled to run through 2030. It is designed to accelerate efforts of selected companies with an established track record of achievement in sustainability to help them scale quickly and tackle the Sustainable Development Goals.
