DALLAS, Sept. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- AGVSPORT America LLC has purchased the rights for the AGVSPORT brand in the United States from AGV Sports Group, Inc. AGVSPORT America, LLC is a newly formed company with headquarters in the Dallas, Texas area. AGVSPORT America has assembled a team of industry professionals and enthusiasts focusing on growth of the brand in the US.

AGVSPORT America is actively refining the current product line-up and adding additional product which will be introduced in early 2018. The AGVSPORT brand has already re-entered the racer and track-day world with special pricing for custom suits for racers and other industry professionals.

AGVSPORT is a legacy brand in the USA and around the world which has been providing benefits to motorsports enthusiasts for over 32 years, giving value to everyone from the casual enthusiasts, track days riders and professional road racers. AGVSPORT has been the official leathers of the California Superbike School leathers for more than 25 years. AGV Sports Group Inc.  will maintain control of marketing the product through rest of the world.

Motonation (the previous USA distributor of the AGVSPORT brand in the US) will continue to distribute their remaining AGVSPORT product through existing channels into 2018. AGVSPORT America and Motonation management are cooperating on a transition strategy that will benefit the AGVSPORT brand customers while allowing Motonation's transition into future endeavors.
