Sweden's most sold foam candy brand pulls into Target stores nationwide, bringing Sweden's most bought car and more than 70 years of Swedish candy-making tradition to U.S. aisles.

Available exclusively at Target stores nationwide, the brand invites American shoppers to discover one of Sweden's most beloved candies. This iconic Swedish candy is known for its playful car shape, signature soft, light and chewy texture, and unique fruity flavors.

The U.S. lineup launches with four varieties: Original – the most sold candy bag in Sweden, Sour, Fruity Duo (raspberry, lemon and tutti-frutti) and Sour & Fruity (raspberry, pineapple and peach). The Original and Sour packs feature the brand's signature white, green, and pink car-shaped pieces. While the exact flavor of the Original and Sour cars is still a famously well-kept secret, the iconic taste has remained unchanged and loved for generations.

Ahlgrens bilar has been produced in Sweden since 1953, when an attempt to make marshmallows created something else entirely: a soft, chewy candy shaped like a car. It grew into a national favorite and is now known in Sweden as "Sweden's Most Bought Car," with approximately 2.6 billion Candy Cars sold every year. The brand became so iconic that in 2009, Swedish astronaut Christer Fuglesang even took Ahlgrens bilar cars with him to the International Space Station.
