AIP Aerospace Appoints Jonathon Levine as Chief Financial Officer

SANTA ANA, Calif., Jan. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- AIP Aerospace ("AIPA"), which includes Ascent Aerospace and Texstars, announced today the appointment of Jonathon Levine as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  As a key member of AIPA's executive management team, Jonathon will assume a strategic role in developing plans to enhance profitable long term growth.  He will also have primary responsibility for leading, planning, and controlling all financially related activities of the company.

Jonathon has an impressive career in strategic and operational financial leadership in global businesses.  In his most recent position as Chief Financial and Administration Officer at Dayco (a $1 billion sales industrial company), Jonathon developed and led transformational programs that improved processes, reduced costs significantly and increased ROI.  He was also instrumental in identifying and implementing actions which drove top-line growth while reducing working capital across a large, global network of manufacturing and service/sales centers.  Prior to Dayco, Jonathon was the Chief Financial Officer for GKN Aerospace North America where he was successful in partnering with company leadership to increase throughput while reducing expenses and working capital.  He also spent 12 years at Tomkins PLC, including 4 years as CFO of Gates Corporation, and held senior financial positions at BAE Systems and Courtaulds Textiles.
