AirTran Airways Adds Nonstop Flights Between Milwaukee and Dallas/Fort Worth

ORLANDO, Fla., April 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today began nonstop service between General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The airline will offer two daily nonstop flights between the cities and will be the only carrier to operate full-sized, Boeing jets on the route.

This new route marks the 18th city AirTran Airways serves from General Mitchell. Earlier today the airline officially opened its Milwaukee pilot and flight attendant bases, significantly expanding its operations and number of Crew Members at this key location.
