AirTran Airways Continues Expansion to Sunny Spots

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today announced new nonstop service from Tampa to Key West, as well as additional flights to several of its most popular, warm and sunny locations, including Tampa, San Juan, Phoenix and Orlando beginning this winter.

These new flights are in addition to the low-cost carrier's already extensive flight options to some of the most visited cities in the U.S. and the Caribbean.  AirTran is adding new Key West service from Tampa in addition to the recently announced nonstop service to San Juan, which begins April 5, 2011.

The following nonstop flights between Milwaukee and Phoenix will be available beginning December 13, 2010*:

*Arizona does not observe daylight savings time. Flight schedules adjust at Phoenix one hour earlier effective March 13, 2011.

**Flight 575 begins operation on December 21, 2010, and will depart at 7:50 p.m. until January 3, 2011, when it will cease operating until March 13, 2011, when it will begin to depart at 7:55 p.m.

***Flight 570 will operate from December 21, 2010 until January 3, 1011.

****Flight 576 will operate from March 13, 2011 until May 4, 2011.

The following nonstop flights between Akron/Canton and Orlando will be available beginning December 21, 2010:  

* Does not operate on Tuesdays and Wednesdays January 4, 2011, through February 16, 2011.

The following nonstop flights between Milwaukee and Tampa will be available beginning March 8, 2011:
