JERUSALEM, Feb. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A senior delegation of American Jewish Committee officials, led by John Shapiro, President, and David Harris, CEO, met today for an hour with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
During the meeting, the delegation shared with the Prime Minister the concerns of the Latino community in the U.S. following the unfortunate misunderstanding of the Prime Minister's recent tweet.
Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed his appreciation for the strong support of U.S. Latinos and for the longstanding efforts of AJC to enhance the ties between them, as well as the countries of Latin America, and the Jewish state.
