AJC Urges Senate to Pass DREAM Act

WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- AJC is urging the Senate to pass the DREAM Act. The vote is expected to take place next week with the proposed legislation now part of the Department of Defense Authorization Bill.

DREAM (Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors) will provide individuals who came to the United States at an early age opportunities, regardless of their current immigration status, to pursue higher education and contribute to American society.
