Alameda Theater Announces Capital Campaign and Renovation

SAN ANTONIO, Aug. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Alameda Theater, a nonprofit organization, will announce a major capital campaign and renovation.
Founded in 1949, the Alameda Theater was known as a safe haven for Latino artistic and cultural expression. It was the largest Spanish-language theater ever built in America with 2,480 seats.
The mission of the Alameda Theater is to be a multi-media, live performing arts and film center featuring the American Latino story.
