Albemarle announces closing of 700 million euros notes offerings
BATON ROUGE, La., Dec. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Albemarle Corporation (NYSE: ALB) announced that it has closed a notes offering consisting of €700 million of 1.875% notes due 2021. The company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering, together with borrowings, to finance the aggregate cash consideration of the previously announced acquisition of Rockwood Holdings, Inc. and pay related fees and expenses.
