ALDI Invests in Even Lower Prices this Fall, Offering U.S. Shoppers $86 Million in Savings

Nearly one-third of products on ALDI shelves every day are now priced lower than they were last year

• Beginning Sept. 23, ALDI is investing on top of its everyday low prices, saving shoppers an estimated $86 million.

BATAVIA, Ill., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Starting today, ALDI is helping shoppers stretch their grocery budgets even further this fall, delivering an estimated $86 million in savings through additional price investments on the season's fresh favorites.¹ With the addition of the lower prices, nearly one-third of the everyday in-store assortment² at ALDI is priced lower than last year.

Newly reduced items include Autumncrisp grapes, Bartlett pears, Brussels sprouts, butternut and spaghetti squash, fresh herbs and garlic, French beans along with a wide range of apples and potatoes. Honeycrisp apples are priced at $1.99 per pound, 35% lower than last year and their lowest everyday price in more than five years. Kirkwood chicken breast family packs are $1.99 per pound, the lowest everyday price since 2022. These reductions build on hundreds of items where prices are already lower than they were in 2025, spanning products like ground and organic whole bean coffee, an assortment of mixed nuts and dried fruit, everyday essentials like paper towels, and some of our most loved Fan Favorites items like Elevation Ready to Drink protein shakes and Choceur chocolate.
