Prior to joining Cinchcast, Alex was Head of Security and Compliance at Gilt Groupe companies, responsible for all aspects of IT infrastructure security, secure application development, and PCI compliance. A published author and frequent speaker, Alex has also spent time at Goldman Sachs, Oracle, and Microsoft as a lead technologist building large-scale enterprise software focused on identity management, single sign-on, authentication and authorization. He has a B.A. in Mathematics/Computer Science from New York University, and a Ph.D. in Cryptography from Yale University.
