CLEVELAND, April 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Aleris announced today that it has appointed Tami Polmanteer to the position of executive vice president, chief human resources officer. Polmanteer most recently served as chief human resources officer at Daymon Worldwide of Stamford, Connecticut, a global retail strategy and private brand development company. Tami will join Aleris on April 18 and report directly to Sean Stack, Aleris president and chief executive officer.

Prior to joining Daymon in 2011, Polmanteer served as vice president of human resources, International and Corporate Functions for the Kellogg Company in Battle Creek, Michigan, a company she joined in 1995 and advanced to hold HR roles of increasing responsibility within multiple divisions. Prior to Kellogg, Tami worked at Abex NWL Aerospace in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Polmanteer's many accomplishments include the successful design and implementation of effective talent management and development models, succession planning, compensation and benefits systems and performance management practices.
Tami holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Nazareth College in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
