BEACHWOOD, Ohio, April 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Aleris's Rolled Products North America (RPNA) business unit today announced that it will implement a freight surcharge of $0.01 per pound of shipped product in order to offset a portion of its significantly increased freight costs. The surcharge will apply to all shipments of aluminum sheet and coil products from the RPNA business unit, and will be effective beginning with all orders entered on or after May 4, 2011.
