Alert Logic Names Technology Veteran Jim Lewandowski To Board Of Directors

HOUSTON, Nov. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Alert Logic, the leading provider of Security-as-a-Service solutions for the cloud, today announced the appointment of 25-year industry veteran executive Jim Lewandowski to its Board of Directors.

Lewandowski's executive leadership and management experience includes global sales, marketing, field operations, P&L responsibility and customer care for some of the most successful global technology companies of the past 25 years: Rackspace, McAfee, Yahoo, BMC Software and IBM. In each case, his leadership contributed materially to the success of these organizations during periods of tremendous growth for each company.

While at Rackspace, he led the worldwide sales organization, delivering 17 consecutive quarters of accelerating annual revenue growth. Prior to Rackspace, Lewandowski was Executive Vice President of the Americas at McAfee, a global leader in security software, where he was responsible for Field Operations in North and South America from 2003 through 2007. Prior to McAfee, Lewandowski was Vice President of Business and Enterprise Sales at Yahoo, Vice President of Sales at BMC Software, and Business Unit Executive for Storage Systems Products at IBM. In each of these roles, Lewandowski drove exceptional revenue and profit growth for each of these enterprises.
