Alexia Foods and Chef Tyler Florence Invite Consumers to Reinvent a Culinary Classic: The French Fry

EAGLE, Idaho, March 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrity Chef Tyler Florence has partnered with Alexia Foods, a line of premium, all-natural side dishes, to invite fans nationwide to have their culinary opinions heard by voting for the next gourmet Alexia french fry flavor in the brand's "Reinvent a Classic" campaign. The campaign, which runs through March 30, 2012, calls for consumers to visit www.Facebook.com/AlexiaFoods and choose one of four unique, blogger-created french fry flavors to be sold in stores.

After inviting 22 food bloggers from across the country to submit recipes for the next great french fry flavor, Alexia narrowed down submissions to the top four and put the four finalists to a consumer vote. In addition to helping determine the future of a culinary classic, voters can get a $1 off coupon for Alexia frozen food products, while supplies last, and enter for a chance to win a trip for two to San Francisco complete with a dinner prepared by Tyler Florence. A fan of the brand, Florence recently helped Alexia kick off the campaign and provide tips on making everyday meals extraordinary.

• Bruschetta Waffle Fries (created by Farihah Ali of Spice's Bites)
