Alfac Subsidiary Receives Coveted Quality Management Certification Demonstrating Strong Commitment To Quality Customer Care

COLUMBUS, Ga., Aug. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Communicorp, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aflac Incorporated, announced today that the company has been awarded the prestigious Quality Management Certification, having met the standards set forth by the International Organization for Standards (ISO), the world's largest developer and publisher of International Standards. This year's certification represents the second time that the company has received this distinct honor, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to delivering quality customer care throughout their entire organization.

SRI Quality System Registrar of Pittsburgh, Pa., an internationally recognized accredited registrar, recently reviewed Communicorp's management system, resource planning initiatives, product and service delivery, and other internal processes as a part of the evaluation criteria for the certification standards. After conducting an extensive review, SRI determined that Communicorp met the rigorous ISO standards. ISO standards are derived from an international consensus on good quality-management practices and require a strong business management process and equally strong documentation of how the company meets its goals and provides excellent customer service.
