Alibris Books Available Through Coutts Information Services

EMERYVILLE, Calif., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Alibris announced today a new service available through its business agreement with Coutts Information Services that allows library customers to select their own copies of out-of-print books, using new features of iFound.

Although Coutts, which is part of Ingram Content Group, has been reselling out-of-print books from Alibris for Libraries through iFound for years, this new service will streamline the process by allowing customers to select their own copy in the OASIS database. This will give customers much more control over the selection and help expedite the process. Books will be shipped and invoiced from Coutts. Book processing and cataloging are also available.

Although other library distributors offer out-of-print books, Coutts is the first academic distributor in North America to fully integrate Alibris books into their own online order database, allowing customers to choose new and used book copies based on price and condition.
