Allegro DVT Helps ZDF Covering the Olympic Games for Multiscreen Delivery

Allegro DVT is proud to communicate on deployment of a significant multiscreen delivery infrastructure at ZDF, public-service German television broadcaster.

This system is based on AL1000 and AL2000 multiscreen encoders and transcoders integrated by international systems integrator Divitel, and is currently used to cover the Olympic Games in HLS and Flash formats for mobile and web delivery.

18 Allegro DVT appliances are being used, enabled with Akamai publication, hot-sparing, network teaming and SNMP automation, to ensure the gold medal for robustness and flexibility.
