Alliance Enterprises Announces Plan to Launch a WIOA Edit Checker for RSA-911 Reports
Responding to industry demand, the no-fee open-source software will be available for vocational rehabilitation (VR) agencies nationwide to test their RSA-911 reports before submission to the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA)
DUPONT, Wash., July 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Alliance Enterprises, Inc. (Alliance) announced today a plan to develop and support software that will help state vocational rehabilitation (VR) agencies in preparing and submitting their federally mandated RSA-911 quarterly reports. The Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) provides leadership and VR resources to assist state and other agencies. The RSA-911 report contains a record of demographic and programmatic data for each person who exited the VR program in that fiscal year.
The new RSA-911 quarterly reporting requirement is part of the ongoing implementation of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) by VR state agencies across the nation. The first quarterly report is due mid-November 2017, and Alliance expects to have the new open-source software available by Nov. 1, 2017. The new Alliance RSA-911 edit checker will test for compliance of new 16-04 Policy Directives.
Alliance's Aware software is the industry standard for vocational rehabilitation case management, data analytics and cloud services and is used by more than 12,000 rehabilitation service providers across 38 state agencies and 23 tribal nations.
"Our Aware community asked Alliance to develop this valuable audit tool, and we are responding to our customers' needs," said Alliance CEO, Chris M. Pieper. "The new RSA-911 edit checker will be available to all VR agencies, at no cost, and will help ensure that agency reports reflect a high-quality metric based on our interpretation of the RSA-911 policy directives."
Alliance will discuss details of the new RSA-911 edit checker with state VR agency customers at the getAwareLive! workforce conference in Dallas this week. Conference keynote speaker David Steele, who is fiscal unit chief at the RSA, will provide new federal guidance that positions state agencies to be in full compliance with accurate, complete and timely WIOA financial reporting, reducing the risk of recovery of funds.
