In his new role, McAnally will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of alliantgroup's Research and Development Tax Credit services and will be one of the firm's main leaders in its expanding R&D Implementation Department.

Prior to his recent promotion, McAnally was a Senior Associate Director within the R&D Implementation Department. In this role, McAnally led a team of science, engineering and tax professionals that specializes in helping companies from different industries claim the R&D Tax Credit and other related tax incentives. To date, McAnally and his team have implemented over 2,500 R&D Tax Credit studies for construction, engineering, MEP, manufacturing and technology clients across the nation, helping these businesses claim almost $600 million in federal and state tax incentives.
McAnally's unique technical background has allowed him to work with clients from a variety of different technical industries. He is a licensed attorney in the state of Texas with a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law. McAnally also has a M.Eng. from the Edward E. Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering at Texas Tech University.
