Allstate Named One of the 2018 "Top 70 Companies for Executive Women"
NORTHBROOK, Ill., March 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Allstate has been named one of the 2018 National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) Top Companies for Executive Women, a recognition of American corporations where women have significant clout to make the decisions that affect their company's future and its bottom line. Allstate is a member of NAFE's Hall of Fame and has been recognized by the organization for its commitment to the advancement of women in the workplace. Additionally, Allstate offers female employees the chance to join the Power of 5, a sponsorship program designed specifically to pair women with leaders throughout the organization to help enhance their skills and careers.
As part of its broader inclusive diversity efforts, Allstate leverages 11 Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Agency Owner Advisory Groups to ensure all employees, regardless of background, are encouraged and perform at their highest levels. Allstate also supports the inclusion of diverse suppliers through its Supplier Diversity Program. Established in 2003, the program has contributed to increased procurement of goods and services with diverse suppliers.

The 2018 NAFE Top Companies application includes some 200 questions on female representation at all levels, especially the corporate officer and profit-and-loss ranks. The vetting process includes tracking access and usage of programs and policies that promote the advancement of women as well as the training and accountability of managers in relation to the number of women who advance.
