Altar'd State Continues its Tradition of Closing All Stores on Thanksgiving Day

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Altar'd State, a rapidly growing women's fashion brand with more than 70 boutiques throughout the Midwest, South, MidAtlantic and Northeast regions, announced today that it will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, a tradition that has been in place since its inception in 2009 to allow associates and guests to focus on giving thanks to friends, family and their community.   

Despite the shopping trend that has progressively shaped a new kind of Thanksgiving tradition, Altar'd State will continue to avoid the temptation of extended hours and all-day shopping sprees in order to give back to its employees and guests on this special holiday. Since opening its first store seven years ago, Altar'd State has always upheld a positive and family-friendly company culture as paramount to the brand's success and actively pursues opportunities to support its mission to "Stand Out. For Good." in the world.
