Altegris Appoints Katherine Paulson As Marketing And Communications Director

LA JOLLA, Calif., June 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Altegris, provider of premier alternative investments, has named Katherine Paulson its Marketing and Communications Director. In her new role, Ms. Paulson will have overall responsibility for the company's marketing strategy, media relations and communications.  She will work closely with business development and investor relations teams.

Ms. Paulson has extensive and wide-ranging experience creating and launching fully integrated marketing campaigns designed to increase company returns on investment. Prior to joining Altegris, she served as Director of Marketing and Communications at MetLife for 11 years. During her tenure at MetLife, Ms. Paulson helped grow the firm's US Retail variable annuity sales from $6 billion to $28 billion by leading the creative management of major digital and print campaigns. Earlier in her career, Ms. Paulson worked for eight years at Jackson National Life Distributors, Inc., where she helped launch and develop the company's flagship variable annuity product suite.
